Possibilities for additional qualifications

Graduates qualify for admittance to a Master’s Program

To acquire the qualification to teach at state schools, students must subsequently obtain a Master of Education postgraduate degree (M.Ed). This has to be followed by an 18-month period of practice teaching in school, which ends with the second state exam for teachers in Germany.

Supplementary/optional courses
The Certificate Program Foundation Studies in Digital Media for Education is an optional course for students studying education related subjects.

Education science

In this programme area, subject-related studies in the field of teacher training are supplemented with courses dealing with teaching practice. This programme area comprises 13 - 23 % of studies in the field of teacher training, depending on the type of school envisaged. It encompasses the following topics: studies in education, subject didactics, internships and key qualifications.

Voraussetzungen für Anfänger/innen

  • Ausbildungsplatz an einer der Kooperationsschulen im Land Bremen (Schulen siehe unter "Forschung" und "Kooperationen") UND
  • bestandene Probezeit 

Sofern die Probezeit zum Zeitpunkt der Bewerbung noch nicht beendet wurde, kann der Nachweis über die bestandene Probezeit bis zum 31.03. nachgereicht werden.

Studiengangsspezifische Voraussetzungen für Fortgeschrittene

  • abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der Gesundheits- und Krankenpflege, Gesundheits- und Kinderkrankenpflege, Altenpflege, Entbindungspflege bzw. Heilerziehungspflege UND
  • Anerkennung der in der Erstausbildung erworbenen Qualifikationen im Umfang von 40 CP

Die Anerkennung kann entweder über einen schriftlicher Nachweis des erfolgreichen Abschlusses der vier an den kooperierenden Pflegeschulen durchgeführten Module mit Einzelnoten oder durch eine Anerkennungsprüfung erfolgen.
